It has been a month now, but at the end of August we took Anastyn to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and since Anastyn loves animals and to make the animal sounds we thought it would be fun to spend a relaxing afternoon there. She loved seeing the animals, but I think her favorite part was getting to walk around on the paths. She loves exploring and being able to run around. Here are a few pictures from our day!

She loved this metal piece. She would stand on it...
then run down this little hill...
...then run up and stand on it again. She did this a least 5 or 6 times. It was cracking me up.

Petting the penguins, we still have not been in the penguin house. It is always so crowded. Maybe next time!
Telling Daddy what a great day she had!!! Actually I think she showed him how old she is. She always claps for herself after she shows us that she is ONE!
